“I used to work in advertising. I just had a month off for poor mental health. And when I came back from it I realized that a big part of the thing that had made me sick in the first place is that I wasn’t making any art.

I had a very long commute and I realized that was probably my only chance to make art. So I started off trying to make a difference for one person every day by leaving cards with positive notes to strangers on them, in copies on the metro, and leaving them on seats for random people to find.”
